VW Fowlkes received his architectural degree from Harvard's Graduate School of Design. His
academic research focused on an alternative American suburbia. Before founding Fowlkes Studio, he worked at architecture firms, large and small, in New
York, Los Angeles, Boston and DC. He has taught
architecture at Catholic
University, Boston Architectural
College and Harvard's Career Discovery program and is LEED accredited.
Catherine Fowlkes received her architectural degree from MIT's School of Architecture and Planning where she researched potential for community empowerment through
adaptive reuse. She has taught
at Northeastern University
and before joining Fowlkes Studio worked at Richard Williams Architects.
